LATEST IN BEAUTY BOX: THE GLAMOUR SUMMER EDIT

There are some launches that are just a 'must have' and the Latest in Beauty Glamour collections are one of them. This summer I knew I had to get my hands on their summer edit. Glamour's beauty director Alessandra Steinherr has created the Summer Edit with some of her holiday must-haves, and now they're mine too! For only £17.99 this box is going to make you fall in love with summer trends all over again!

In this month's box, there are some real groundbreaking products. First up, the Nails Inc Gel effect polish which comes in three different shades. I got the shade Uptown which is a dusty pink colour, totally me and perfect for my holiday as it's a shade that will go with EVERYTHING. These polishes take only two coats to create a long lasting ultra glossy gel-like nail without UV lights or special removal. What a winner! The two other shades are a coral and a neon pink so there's no real loser on these choices!

The most exciting product in this box comes from Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals, known for their tanning ranges this product tops all tanners by being the first self-tanning bronzing powder. Apply this over a few days all over your face, not only will you gain a glow daily you'll be gradually developing a tan that will last up to five days. You also get a kabuki brush to apply this with... IT IS SO DAMN SOFT! I can't wait to try this out!

Now all skincare addicts, brace yourselves for this one... This product is what first drew me to the box if I'm honest. Pixi Glow Tonic in a mini bottle is ready for your travels and trials this summer. This holy grail item raved about by Caroline Hirons has been the one item I've been desperate to try. If you've been under a rock, this tonic toner is a wonder product in that it brightens skin by gentle exfoliation and tightens the skin.

Bourjois also make an appearance in this box, and I'm SO happy to see it in there. They have must-haves in all categories but their lip products are one to write home about. I was so excited to see their Color Boost Lip Crayons in there. These chunky pencils are glossy but leave a gorgeous veil of colour or can be layered for a full-colour effect. Supposedly they last 10 hours and come in gorgeous colours. I received Peach on the Beach and I have to say I'm so happy I did because I was going to buy this the other week but resisted, it's like the makeup gods knew!

For the hair, we see two products; one of my favourites the L'Occitane Shampoo and Conditioner. These shampoos are full of essential oils, and they work hard at nourishing the hair as well as providing aromas that make shampooing a calming experience. These mini bottles are PERFECT for trial size or for someone as fussy as me and has to take their own shampoo's when they go away.

The other hair product is the Caudalie Divine Oil, which isn't just a hair product - its a head to toe oil. This adds sheen to hair, face and body and even can be used in the bath. It smells incredible and is just one of them 'treat yourselves' kinda product. A real luxury in this box!

With all good makeup comes good skin, and Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish is here to help. Give yourself a good scrub before the tanning season commences or take that old fake tan off now! This is a real treat in that it exfoliates, tones and moisturises all in one. A time saver too!

The one product that just doesn't thrill me but you can't please them all is the Seekers of the Sun Luxury Tattoo's. The one-off designs, especially for the box, are for temporary tattoo dreams and will look great with tans. They aren't my cup of tea but probably would consider them if I was off to a festival.

And lastly, probably the most important product of the box - Eucerin Sun Care products. I received the factor 50 face cream which is in a 50ml bottle. Can this be any more handy!  They have 4 bottles for choice and I was glad to get a face cream, sun cream is so important even if you like a tan. Burning is not tanning - I wish more people would remember that.

This box for under £20 with a retail value of £117 is an absolute BARGAIN and I am so excited to give everything a real go. I'd go buy one now before they're all gone as this seems to be one not to miss! GO GO GO! [LINK]
