SHOPPING THE STASH #4

A good few weeks ago I gave my skin a good rest and was only wearing makeup when I went out properly or at the weekends. I was not wearing it for university anymore as I was only in for a couple hours a day and when you're in London and bare faced it doesn't matter whatsoever!

But I was missing looking better than my bare-faced look, I do love makeup but when sleep won as well I was in such a rut. I dug out the depths of my collection and got my eyebrows threaded and decided to make an effort again.

Bourjois Mega Liner in Ultra Black is one of my go-to products recently, this stuff really is black and creates strong lines, it has a funny nip. It's super easy when you get it right but sometimes it's not the best at the tiny lines, sometimes I end up making it too thick. However, I think this is the blackest eyeliner I've ever used and really recommend it!

Benefit Hello Flawless foundation and MAC Select Cover Up Concealer have been perfect for the hot weather, they create a really glowy base and Hello Flawless creates a medium coverage but doesn't feel heavy and thick like some liquid foundations can. Select Cover-Up is always a good concealer for under eye circles too. I'm gutted the Select liquid foundation was discontinued years ago, it was so good.

I love using the Lee Stafford Double Blow hair mousse, it is a really amazing mousse that doesn't leave a sticky crunchy feel to the hair and I use it every time I blow dry my hair, for someone with fine hair this is the best way to add a bit of something on an every day/constant use.

Onto skincare my Botanicals facial oil has been well loved throughout the month, so much so that every few days my boyfriend even asks me to apply to him...shh don't tell him I told you though haha. Oddly enough, I'm happy to let him use it too alongside La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo as it creates a lovely effect the next morning. I'm in love with this organic oil!

A bit of a random one but the Nivea Invisible Black and White deodorant has won the spotlight this month.  I used to be a dedicated Dove deodorant fan but I've started to find they weren't working - maybe I've over-used it for years, so I tried Nivea again and this one and their Pearl deodorant are on my daily uses. This one especially as it stops those horrible marks and stains on your clothes. I love white tops and blouses, and I'm trying to keep those stains away!

What have you reached for recently? Any old favourites out of the makeup collection?
