BRIGHTON'S HOTEL SEATTLE & TRIP REVIEW

This summer has made me want to travel more than ever - after a holiday with me spending half of it ill and in a foreign hospital I was keen to see a bit more of the UK! Brighton admittedly was one of them places that every youtuber seems to be relocating too and seems like the new London but I wanted to give it a chance. And... I see the attraction, it's not like a Suffolk sea-side that's for sure!

My boyfriend had some time off so we headed down to the coast a couple of weeks ago now and we stayed at the Hotel Seattle on the Marina and booked with Amazon Local. [LINK] We paid £105 a night and went for a couple of nights which was a complete bargain for the room and this included free parking from the moment we arrived until the moment we left Brighton. This was such an added bonus as not many of the hotels have parking in the town.

The hotel was a really modern complex inside the marina, it's not a singular building but split on different levels and intertwined between the chain restaurants and bars surrounding too. I think it was the ideal location, it is a good few miles from the town centre and pier but there is a electric train service that runs from each side which is a real fun seaside tradition too.

The room was great, we actually had an upgrade, we paid for an inland view and got a marina view! This was soo nice and lovely to get - waking up to the sea and boats made it feel like such a holiday somewhere abroad!

The room is airy and white with monsoon shower, (trickier to use than a conventional but loved the luxury) it had extra toiletries (which was a nice touch, sometimes you just get bog standard shower gel.) The usual tea and coffee facilities on a desk and a wardrobe rack, it wasn't a closed door rack so this wouldn't be the best stay if you had LOADS of clothes but for a couple day break the few drawers and rack plus your wardrobe was enough!

This was the view from the marina which really was beautiful. Despite the construction site for new apartments there was a really peaceful blue sea to look at.  The hotel provided breakfast as a buffet style or you could choose one cooked dish (mainly egg dishes.) The continental breakfast of hams, cheese, croissants etc were plentiful then the full english buffet was great too. My boyfriend had on the second morning the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which he really enjoyed. I loved the fact you had the options too!

We tried a drink in the bar the first evening too after a long drive. I had the passionfruit mojito which was so nice! The bar was open till 'late' so was a really relaxed hotel.

Brighton was beautiful, the lanes are great to get lost in and see all the jewellery and trinkets. I also loved the shopping centres and boutique shops too. We had the obligatory fish and chips, ice creams and walked on the rocks for a little while. We also spent a little on the 2p machines but we were good!

I will definitely return to Brighton, we absolutely loved it and felt it was so holiday like and it was really relaxing all the same. I would definitely return again and use the Hotel Seattle as it ticked EVERY box!  You can book it here [LINK]
