Life is pretty busy, huh? I bet you've found that your relationship doesn't have the same spark it once did. Don't get me wrong, you may still be madly in love, but it manifests itself in a different way. Rather than excitement and passion, you're more likely to spend a quiet night in front of the TV. And that's fine. In many ways, that's what real love looks like. However, most experts suggest that there should always be room in your love life for the date night.

It can get a little bit difficult when you factor in all of your other responsibilities. From your job to your children, it can be impossible to set the time aside sometimes. Well, if you can find the time, we can supply the ideas for date nights that are sure to reignite the spark in your relationship.

Go on a picnic.

The world is constantly buzzing, and it's never going to slow down around you. If you want some time and space to yourselves, you're going to have to find it yourself. You can easily achieve this by finding a cute little location to go on a picnic date. Whether it's the park, or in the middle of nowhere. Just take the time to be free from everything around you other than each other.

Go to a theme park. You might not think of theme parks as the archetypal days out for couples but bear with me. You're reading this because you want your relationship to have an injection of excitement, right? Well, I implore you to find me something more thrilling than a trip to the theme park. Get the adrenaline pumping, and your relationship will soon follow suit.

Relive your first date. I'm going to go ahead and assume that your memory isn't quite failing you just yet. You should be able to remember the magical details of your first date quite intimately. Whether it was a date in your university’s student union, or a typical dinner and movie scenario. Well, one of you should take the initiative and surprise the other with a reenactment of the entire first date. Trust me, you'll get serious brownie points for this one, but it'll also serve as a reminder of why you fell in love in the first place.

Stay in a hotel. Sometimes, you might just discover that the reason you feel mundane or complacent is because of your surroundings. By removing both of you from your comfort zone, you're able to inject new life into your relationship. Even if it's something as simple as staying in a hotel, it can help to get you reacquainted.

Try something you've never tried before. You'll have to use your imagination a little bit for this one, but it's well worth the effort. Pick an activity you've never attempted before. Go ahead, pull a name right out of a hat. Let's say, for example, ice skating. There will be bumps along the way, which can be a laugh. But, come the end of it, there's a real sense of achievement. And what's more, you've shared it together.
