I can't count on one hand the amount of friends and family members I've got hooked on Liz Earle skincare. So many of my friends ask me what I use and its always Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, now they can't live without it. Liz Earle makes the best skincare products and she is now taking her natural skincare range further with Skin, the book that creates a great plan for a natural and nutritional diet, that also incorporates great skincare and body care!
The full title of the book is Skin: Delicious Recipes & the Ultimate Wellbeing Plan for Radiant Skin in 6 weeks! There is a full plan that focuses on detoxing your skin by working form the inside as that counts just as much as the skincare you use. It has 80 recipes from breakfasts, brunches, snacks, lunch through to dinner, with easy to follow instructions and accessible meals.
My favourite part of the book is the sections that look at incorporating the detox into the skincare elements. The book is laid out so nicely and has full diagrams as well as great chatty language. The cleansing section looks at properly treating the skin and at no point does Liz try to promote her products in every way that could of so easily been done but she recommends just making good use of your skincare products, of course her's would fit in perfectly but I like that she hasn't gone promo crazy!
There is even sections on the types of foods to eat, what oils are good to be using, skin boosting ingredients and what to look out for in products. Its the great guide to sorting out all of your products and ingredients into a detoxed healthy selection and only using the best you can for your needs. I really like the way it is laid out in sections and can be a book that you use as a guide, cookbook or something to refer back to when you want to get back on track or are looking for a boost in certain aspects of your routine.
This book is the perfect gift for anyone who is a fan of Liz Earle's products. It is also really affordable at only £8.99 on Amazon here [LINK]! I know I'd love to give this a read at Christmas time and after all the food we get through at all the dinners and parties we go to, a detox after December will definitely be needed!
