Liquid lipsticks and creme formulas seem to be the 'in' thing this year with Kylie Jenner lip kits and the dupes that have come with it. Maybelline have really been stepping up their lip range and the Colour Drama liquid lip paints are no exception to the awesome colour ranges and formulations you'll find at their stands!
The colour drama range has five bold statement colours that are super pigmented. The fact that they are named 'intense lip paints' really suggests exactly what they are, there is no room for error with these so with the bold colours like the red and purples I make sure to use a brush and apply as carefully as I can.
The applicator is a soft sponge which when squeezing the tube it releases the product through the middle. This applicator is great for the lighter colours but as I say, take colour with caution!
My favourite colour from the range is the baby pink which is the perfect girlie pink that really comes out as the colour on the tube suggests. It is a great everyday colour and the staying power on these lip paints are really strong as they leave a small stain of colour behind when it has faded at the end of the day. The nude is also a really lovely colour and is very autumnal and in for the brown nude trend we're seeing a lot of recently. As you can see the purple isn't as thick in terms of texture but still an awesome bold colour!
The above colours are left to right: Nude - Stripped Down, Pink - Fight me Fuchsia, Purple - Vamped Up, Baby Pink - Never Bare Down, Red - Gloss Red Dy.
These lip paints are only £4.99 each which is a great price for these lip colours! Find them at Boots here [LINK].
