Benefit Cosmetics constantly impresses me with their line of products. I own nearly all their products after my recent haul which can be found here. [LINK] One of the products in my haul was Lollibalm hydrating tinted lip balm. After releasing their famous cheek and lip tints which began with Benetint and extended with Cha Cha Tint, Posie Tint and Lollitint, they released a series of matching lip balms!

Once again wedding season has arrived, which means that soon enough the invites will start flying through your post box. On average, most of us get invited to at least one wedding a year. It’s easy to think of weddings as just another celebration to get dressed up for, but being a wedding guest is much more than that. If you’ve been invited to share in a couple's special day, it’s because they want to celebrate with you. Each wedding guest costs a couple over £300 on average - that’s a lot of money. So if you've been sent an invite (visit Pure Invitation for personalised wedding invites), you need to be on your best behaviour. The question is, what does it mean to have good wedding etiquette as a guest?

A few weeks ago I was getting to a tough moment with my skin. The issue was, that although it will never be a pure blank canvas, you could see the tiredness in my skin and eyes. I looked like I hadn't drunk water for years and forgot what fruit and veg was, oddly enough my diet and exercise have been the best they've been in years. So it was time to up the ante on the product front! Introducing Ole Henriksen*...

I don't review haircare enough and I think when I find a good range for my hair type, I should be shouting about it. I have oily roots and normal/dry ends. I know more ranges are embracing this type, such as the L'Oreal clay range but I found L'Oreal was starting to make my hair really limp. So I decided to change it up with a new range. I picked up the Tresemme Oleo Radiance range when it was half price on a bit of a whim, but I've become pleasantly surprised by the range.

Working from home, whether its for studying or a full time job can be tough to keep motivated. It's important to maintain a routine or schedule to keep work ethic up so you treat it as another working and study day. I'm back to the blog and with a big post today! A few weeks I found out that I had won Sarah's at Temporary Secretary, Benefit and Pinterest competition. I made my summer theme board for my entry and was so thrilled to find out I had won a £250 Benefit voucher. If you've been a long time reader of The Beauty Type, you'd know that Benefit is my favourite brand and I love when I discover their new products! They're very much a high-end brand and so their products are normally a treat for my collection so was very happy to get a bundle of products arrive!

As I've been a student for the last few years, I've felt really guilty when I've been reading any book that isn't an educational book. The last month has seen me work on my dissertation and even though I could have read, I just want to not be looking at words whilst doing it! I treated myself to two four new books ready for the summer and when I have the freedom to read anything I like again! I'm on holiday at the end of May and am looking forward to sitting on a sun lounger reading! These are some books I've wanted to read for ages too!
