I'm probably Mary Berry's biggest fan. I have a whole shelf full of her cookbooks. What I enjoy most is that her presence and calming nature especially when she is on tv. Her cookbooks are hearty, full of wholesome meals that aren't trying to be 'trendy' with the latest fads but are good meals that would bring good food, store cupboard essentials and easy recipes together to create good food.

Foolproof Cooking is one of her newest books and contains the recipes from her TV series of the same name. These are described as foolproof, delicious dishes that you can depend on. It contains weekday suppers, dinner party ideas and pudding and bakes that are great for all types of cooks.

The images in the book are what sell it every time, they always look so effortlessly put together with ingredients we can all find within the supermarkets. The recipes are simple to follow no matter what you're making, if its a dinner party theres no twelve page steps its all easy to read and cook.

The starters and salads are often my favourite as for quick lunch inspiration to jazz up my boring sandwiches for work. For each section here is a 'foolproof guide' so you can learn all the tips on how to cook the perfect [...] from how to tailor particular pastas to sauces and how cook vegetables perfectly.

This cookbook is suited to all, I especially think its perfect for anyone who wants to change up their weekday recipes and improve your skills this is a great book to get your hands on. Plus who doesn't think that Mary Berry is like the grandma of the cooking world providing meals and food like your grandparents would! You can get Foolproof Cooking from Amazon for only £11.99 saving £13 from the RRP [LINK].
