After trying a handful of The Ordinary products out last summer, I’ve been stocking up on more of Deciem’s products after getting on with them so well. I’ve only heard incredible things about the brand so wanted to invest more into my skincare and treat it with good products. My local House of Fraser sells the products so I no longer have to order online too, even better!
If you’d like to see my last review of some of the products I’d tried out, check it out here [LINK]. I’ve recently got into the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution [LINK] which is a massive dupe for Pixi Glow Tonic. A bottle of this is only £6.75 which compared to Pixi is more than half the price! This stuff is honestly a must have for any skincare fanatic. The acid isn’t scary to use, it’s like a strong toner which gently exfoliates the skin and keeps it clear, radiant and clean.
Another newbie to my collection is the Coverage Foundation [LINK]. I had heard a lot about this sell-out product when it was launched and believe the hype. This stuff is awesome. It has a great medium/full coverage but feels like nothing on the skin. I love this and the colour selection is great. I’m an NC15/20 in MAC/Ecru in Estee Lauder and the colour I use for this is the 1.0NS. I seriously recommend this, especially for £5.90!
If you’re a fan of primers then the High-Spreadability Fluid Primer [LINK] is perfect for creating a soft but non-silicone base. This is ideal for anyone who isn’t a fan of silicone primers and works wonderfully at creating a smooth base. I do have the Silicone version but I really didn’t get on with that one.
The AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution [LINK] has a technical name but it’s so easy to use. This is a liquid mask. Although it may look like blood in a bottle, put a layer of this on your face and it will bring you back to normal. No matter the skin complaint, this is my savour in a bottle and will be reviewing this more very soon!
The products I have multiple backups of are the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution [LINK], which is the best spot solution and I can’t ever be without it, and I’m obsessed with the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 [LINK] which is super hydrating and keeps dryness at bay!
In my collection, I also have the Caffeine Solution [LINK], great for dark circles, Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% [LINK], perfect for brightening and diminishing blemishes such as scaring and the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% [LINK] which helps with congestion. I didn’t get on with the Niacinamide as much as the Salicylic Acid but these all work hand in hand!
These products are insanely good, a lot of them look like water and yet perform really well on the skin. Some of them I can’t live without now and many of them are weekly treatments! The price is unreal with most of the products being between £6-8.
Have you tried anything from The Ordinary yet, which products can you not live without?
