WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS – BEAUTY

Doesn’t Christmas feel like a distant memory? I thought instead of showing you everything I got for Christmas, I would just show some of the luxury beauty products I got. I got some real gems this year for beauty and there were some bits that I’ve been after for years. I’ve also got a couple of January sales purchases as well in this one just because…!

From my mum, who does definitely pick up on my hints when we go shopping she got me a perfume I’ve been after for absolutely years! When I used to work at L’Occitane when I was at university, the Neroli and Orchidee fragrance was released so I would work hard to sell this perfume and sprayed it throughout the streets of Bond Street. Since then I’ve wanted to own a bottle for myself as the scent is so divine.  It’s a real fresh but girlie warm smell and leaves a long lingering fragrance. Perfect for this time of the year!

Mum also got me the Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt body and hand wash. I used this scent from Jo Malone on my wedding day, it’s a beautiful clean and fresh scent that can be layered with other fragrances to create a personalised fragrance. I’m going to be savouring this shower gel as it’s such a treat to use and has lovely packaging too!

I went a bit fragrance crazy this Christmas and I asked for the Neal and Wolf Aura hair and body spray. I used Neal and Wolf when one of the first Glossyboxes came out all those years ago, I was sent a box as a sample and since that day I have missed using their products and most importantly the heavenly scent. I don’t know how this brand hasn’t got more hype, their products are so good, they’re well priced and it smells INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad I have this spray in my life, it’s made my year!

It also wouldn’t be Christmas without a Naked palette, I know have the Urban Decay Naked 3 which is the pink shades rather than natural browns. I already own Naked 1 and Smoky but didn’t love the look of number 2 so was glad to ask for 3! These are gorgeous eyeshadows and I use them religiously everyday so it is nice to add another one to my collection!

I know… I got a lot of perfumes already but when sales shopping, Boots had Si by Armani on offer in a gift set for around £50. It was a bargain as it had a 50ml, 15ml and a body cream which was way cheaper than it normally would be! This is my ‘signature’ scent (which is always so corny as so many people use it that it can’t just be MY scent) but I LOVE this perfume, I feel glamorous and sophisticated when I wear it. I had some money for Christmas so treated myself to a new bottle!

And lastly, a small sale purchase was the Ordinary Coverage Foundation. I really wanted to try this for only £6 and I am in LOVE! This is a beautiful foundation and makes my skin look incredible! You must try this if you haven’t already!

What did you get for Christmas? I also got some Benefit bits but I do that every year so nothing new!

  • I’ve had my eye on the coverage foundation from The Ordinary for a while now. Must pick it up soon!

I hope they create more makeup, it would be seriously good!

  • It’s impossible to ever have too many fragrance options and if you love one then it would be rude to not take up the super duper sale! These are some beautiful pieces. Happy New Year 🙂
