I’m back to the blog and with a big post today! A few weeks I found out that I had won Sarah’s at Temporary Secretary, Benefit and Pinterest competition. I made my summer theme board for my entry and was so thrilled to find out I had won a £250 Benefit voucher. If you’ve been a long time reader of The Beauty Type, you’d know that Benefit is my favourite brand and I love when I discover their new products! They’re very much a high-end brand and so their products are normally a treat for my collection so was very happy to get a bundle of products arrive!

I was able to choose the products I ordered so I got to tailor them to my wishlist. I’ve been desperate to try some of their new summer releases and get some products that I’ve wanted to add to my collection for a while.

First up, and the biggest product of the haul, is the new Cheekathon blush kit. This is a steal at £44.50. This palette contains FIVE full-size blushes! This kit contained Dallas and Rockateur, two colours I did not own. It costs the same for two as it does five in this kit so I wanted to add it to my collection.

view all of the products in more detail in the next few weeks but for now here’s a rundown of the products I got. The They’re Real Push Up Gel Liner, Dew The Hoola and Dandelion Dew which are two of the newest products this season. I also have Stay Don’t Stray Shadow and Concealer Primer, Hello Flawless Face Powder, Big Easy BB Cream, Rollerlash Mascara (with mini) Lollibalm Lipbalm, Its Potent Eye Cream and a pencil sharpener.

Most of the products I haven’t tried before, but the eye cream and the face powder are two products I repurchased after a long time without them. I think the eye cream is one of the best on the market and find it really brightens the eyes. The face powder is the full size after trying the how to look the best at everything kit which I really enjoyed using. I feel very lucky to have won the competition and am looking forward to using these every morning! Are there any products you’d like me to review first? What are your favourite products from Benefit?
