Ok, so I should really say ‘Autumn’ but we all know fall sounds better. As the weather is changing, more layers are being worn and the heating is starting to be used, our skin is going to take the brunt of it. I used to be pants at applying body lotion but when I work out or have a bath I really feel like it adds to the experience so here is my round up of my three favourite body lotions.

The Norwegian Formula Visibly Renew Elasti Boost Body Lotion (that’s a mouthful and a half!) is one of my favourite body lotions. I got this last year for Christmas and I’ve nearly used it up and considering I NEVER use a body lotion up, this is a winner. The texture is quite light and sinks in really easily, perfect for applying before bed. This is a lotion that works really quickly and is great when you’ve got dry patches or want to put some moisture back in the skin. It claims to put suppleness and elasticity back into the skin in just 10 days which I’d definitely say it does. If you want a super quick and easy but super hydrating lotion, this is the one! This is super cheap for 400ml too, you can get this on Lookfantastic for only £3.95 [LINK].

The new Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Intense Repairer Lotion is the definition of fall. Quite literally this looks and smells like fall as it is the Maple Healer lotion for dry or rough skin. This has been out a little while now but is great for this time of year to get you in the mood for the winter season. It contains caster oil for soothing and maple sap for its restorative powers which combined is a lovely rich texture to protect and soften the skin. It’s a thicker lotion than the Neutrogena but the pump makes it really easy to use. If you want to get into the autumnal spirit, this is the one you need! It is only £5.99 in Boots [LINK].

Now, I’m sorry to say but I think this last product is discontinued, and I’m very sad about it. The Nip and Fab Bee Sting Deluxe Body Souffle is the lightest lotion of them all. It has a very summery scent and feel to it but it’s my favourite lotion when I’m working out. This is a rich moisturiser with bee venom to help plump the skin and firm it for an improved look. Although it’s not a dry skin style moisturiser, I bought this to help make my skin feel good whilst I’m improving my fitness as a bit of an incentive to make myself look better and feel better! A weird concept but I love how this feels, its a lovely fresh scent and is so easy to apply as it sinks in immediately. I got this at TK Maxx or Homesense and have seen them in a few of their stores now so if you want to try it, head there or check out Nip and Fab online [LINK]. It’s only £5.00 on their website!

I’m not a big body butter fan but I’d love to get myself a Body Shop body butter again this year, probably the strawberry or vitamin c! Such classics! What is your favourite lotion for winter?
