I’ve been loving an effortless eyeshadow look recently. I’ve stopped using eyeliner in the bottom lash line but I’ve also been trying to cool off on the eyeshadow just to go for a more muted look. I think keeping it easy for the daytime means it’s got more of a chance of looking more polished and longer lasting! I’ve found a few products that I keep reaching for time and time again and it’s time to show them off!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows

These beauties have been raved about over the last few yeas and I keep returning to them. The colour range is great and these work perfectly as a base for other eyeshadow or as a product on their own! I love on and on bronze and this may be my second tub of this colour. Sadly, if you abandon them they do dry up but for £5 a pop I don’t mind replacing them every now and then. These are great to pick up when you’re stuck on a 342 in Boots and are comparable to high end equivalent products.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

The Urban Decay Naked Palettes come in various shades and options but the original cannot be dismissed. This is the ideal eyeshadow palette for everyday looks. I personally love the lightest shades with a touch of brown in the crease. I feel like even if I do a light dusting, I feel more put together than if I had just left foundation. Although pricey, these are well worth their money!

MAC eyeshadow palette in Amber Times Nine

This eyeshadow palette was a steal when I went to the York Designer Outlet. This palette like the Urban Decay provides easy to use long lasting eyeshadows. What makes this palette so effortless is that all of the colours compliment each other and can be used for daytime wear or smoked up for evening looks. This is one for the handbag, it’s mini but packs a punch!

Benefit Cosmetics – Hoola Bronzer

Ok so this isn’t an eyeshadow but hear me out. This bronzer is one of my favourite products I own, no question. However I also use it as an eyeshadow in the crease. Hoola provides the perfect amount of depth and warmth without being too brown or orange. It compliments most lighter eyeshadows. This doesn’t provide a orangey look as its colouring as a bronzer is more tan with brown in than an orange fake look. If you have this in your collection, give it a try. You won’t look back!
