I’ve finally made it as a beauty blogger as I’ve now got more than one Charlotte Tilbury product! After trying the Flawless Filter I knew I had to try more. The Charlotte Tilbury lipstick range is one of the most talked about in beauty blogging so I had to get in on the action. The Black Friday offer I managed to get my hands on was THREE lipsticks for £30! A bargain when they are £24 each normally and creating a saving of £42. I was so happy with this deal that I had to go for it.
Despite the lipsticks on offer being replaced as they had sold out, as a newbie to the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick world, I didn’t mind the replacements and am thrilled to be trying out three amazing shades.
So if you’re new to the range like I am, you’re probably wondering what a K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick is compared to the others in the range. The K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula is the signature range made with modern and classic stars in mind. They are infused with tree extract to protect from UV rays and they have light diffusing pigments and are a lovely soft finish with no bleeding not the lip line.
So which colours did I receive?
Well you may look at these and think, Lisa, they are all the same colour? Fear not, these are the perfect trio of nudes. There’s no garish colours here. I love that Charlotte Tilbury rarely create colours that aren’t classic and timeless. I picked up the colours Nude Kate, Bitch Perfect and Penelope Pink. All of these are gorgeous everyday nudes and are the perfect place to start when it comes to the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick range.
This is a nude lipstick with pink undertones. Penelope Pink is very similar to Nude Kate but contains a pinker undertone. In the bullet it isn’t obvious but upon swatching, it provides a smooth nudey pink. I love this colour, it’s super flattering on all skin tones and being slightly pink allows you to have a bit more of a cool tone to your face. These are quite glossy so make a change from basic matte colours.
Nude Kate (above) is a truer nude and much warmer. It comes out more orange toned than pink and reminds me a lot like Hue by MAC. I love the texture of this lipstick as it’s so smooth to apply and super glossy. Nudey tones don’t suit me everyday but they are great with a smokey eye.
This is my favourite of the shades. Bitch Perfect has an amazing name and also has a beautiful peachy tone to this nude. It’s a lot pinker, warmer and more of an everyday shade. The effect is beautiful and I can imagine wearing this all the time. The glossy finish is perfect this time of year to keep your lips moisturised too!If you prefer a pink tone, then this is for you.
I am so impressed by these colours. I got such a bargain for the three colours at £10 each. The actual bullets and case are so classy in the gold and feel really luxurious. If I was to recommend one, it would be Bitch Perfect. It’s such a beautiful pink!
I’ve developed such a bug for Charlotte Tilbury now, I wonder what will be on my list next! What’s your favourite?
